Colourstrings is an internationally recognised approach to music education which was developed in the 1970s by the Hungarian brothers Géza and Csaba Szilvay, who are well known to string players and educators the world over. The Colourstrings approach to music teaching is based on Kodály principles and represents the finest opportunity for young children to be taught musicianship skills in the early years.
This introduction to Teaching Colourstrings Music Kindergarten forms the first part of the training as a certified Colourstrings Music Kindergarten Teacher. It is suitable for musicians and early years practitioners who wish to teach music in an early years setting and also for parents wishing to introduce their young children to music using the world renowned Kodály methodology. This course consists of 2 weekend courses with some light practial homework to help reinforce the teachings.
